This Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) brings together early-career scientists from graduate students to junior faculty members in the field of RNA nanotechnology. The seminar offers participants an exceptional environment to discuss their latest research, exchange ideas, initiate collaborations, and network with peers. The 2019 RNA Nanotechnology Gordon Research Seminar will focus on four pillars of RNA nanotechnology: structure, diagnostics, therapeutics, and delivery. RNA nanotechnology is promising for the development of new therapeutic and diagnostic strategies for life-threatening diseases. Topics that will be covered in keynote, oral, and poster presentations include RNA structural studies, RNA-based sensors, RNA therapeutics, delivery vehicles, and extracellular vesicles. In particular, the seminar will focus on the unique challenges and benefits of RNA nanotechnology.
