The Gordon Research Seminar on Vibrational Spectroscopy is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas. This GRS will focus on using techniques in vibrational spectroscopy to understand chemical dynamics, structure, and reactivity on a molecular level. Graduate students and post-docs using molecular vibrational signatures as spectroscopic probes in experimental or theoretical investigations are encouraged to participate. The meeting will also focus on the development of cutting-edge spectroscopic techniques and theoretical methods used to address molecular activity throughout a wide range of fields including (but not limited to) biological systems, energy and catalysis, atmospheric and gas phase chemistry, and chemistry at interfaces.
